POR FAVOR LEER – Condiciones Generales y Contractules para la Atención en Consejería Cristiana

Todo consultante que inicia un tratamiento, queda sujeto/a a regirse por estas simples reglas que conforman la práctica regular en todo consultorio de atención psicoterapéutica en Estados Unidos y dado que están ampliamente disponibles online y ademas en todas las comunicaciones, se determina que al iniciar su primer consulta el/la consultante está aceptando los mismos como se leen aqui debajo:

1. Nuestra práctica en Asesoramiento Familiar Cristiano se lleva a cabo conforme a las regulaciones profesionales en los estatutos del Estado de la Florida U.S.A. como “Asesoramiento Espiritual Cristiano”, por lo tanto con el comienzo de la primera sesión usted declara que está aceptando recibir asesoramiento individual o en pareja por video conferencia o en la oficina con un profesional capacitado en Psicología de Orientación Cristiana.

2. Estas sesiones permanecen bajo absoluta confidencialidad, excepto en el caso en que el profesional evalúe que el/la consultante está en peligro de hacerse daño a sí mismo o a otros, en cuyo caso el/la profesional podrá involucrar a las autoridades respectivas.

3. Las sesiones pueden ser individuales y/o de pareja. Comenzando en forma individual o en pareja o si comienza individual y termina siendo para resolver situaciones matrimoniales, ambos en el matrimonio (identificado por quien primero solicitó la consulta, aceptan que la consejería se realiza para buscar la resolución de los conflictos matrimoniales y como el/la profesional trabaja con ambos, la intervención se lleva a cabo para evitar el resultado en divorcio. Si la pareja de todas formas igual llegára a esa instancia, ambos aceptan que el/la profesional no intervendrá de ningún modo en el proceso judicial a favor de ninguna de las partes, ya que ha estado orientando a ambos.

4. Dado que las sesiones son confidenciales, tanto el/la profesional como los consultantes tienen terminantemente prohibido grabar en cualquier formato estas sesiones, salvo que haya existido consentimiento previo escrito y firmado por ambas partes por algún motivo especial.

5. Comenzando a la hora pre-establecida, (en Video Conferencia o en Oficina) el/la profesional estará disponible para la sesión y tendrá la gentileza de esperar hasta 10 minutos pasada la hora fijada. Si el/la consultante no llegó, esa hora ha quedado consumida y deberá reservar otra cita incluyendo el nuevo pago correspondiente. Esto es una práctica universal en psicoterapia dado que el/la consultante no llegó a su cita y dado que este no es un consultorio médico donde si un paciente no llega, pasa el que sigue en espera, toda reserva de cita no cancelada con un mínimo de 72 horas (para cancelar lunes email enviado viernes; para martes email enviado sábado), quedará igual como servicio realizado y para una nueva cita deberá realizar una nueva reservación.

6. En caso de que hubiese la necesidad de administrar una Batería de Tests Psicológicos, el costo completo de la Batería incluye todas las sesiones de tests (tipicamente 4), el trabajo de evaluación  más la devolución y dado que para agendar la primera administración es necesario el pago completo de la técnica, si luego el consultante se arrepiente y no quiere trabajar los Tests Psicológicos y desea un reembolso, se le devolverá sin preguntas, menos un 30% de descuento, debido al bloqueo de turnos realizado para todas las citas.

7.a.Una vez que se haya fijado una próxima cita, administración en esa misma semana (como muy tarde el viernes) procesará de inmediato la reserva para la próxima consulta en la tarjeta en archivo donde se realizó la reserva inicial, para así mantener el horario programado para la próxima semana. ( ZELLE puede usarse solo para pagar costo de Tests Psicológicos directo a Doxa Int. University= admin@doxa.edu).

b. ATENCION: Pagos realizados con menos de 72 hs antes de la próxima sesión pueden perder su turno. (Ej. Si la sesión es un Jueves como muy tarde, el pago debe llegar a oficina el Lunes) y cambios de horarios, habiendo ya obtenido una cita establecida, deberán realizarse con oficina, también con 72hs de anticipación.

c. Cuando el banco y/o agencia procesadora (por diversos motivos) rechaza el cargo en la tarjeta provista por el consultante, se nos cobra U$12 por cada transacción rechazada. La primera multa la absorve la oficina y se envia al consultante el comprobante de transacción fallida, pero a partir de la segunda, el consultante deberá pagar estas multas de U$12 cada una.

PLEASE READ – General and Contractual Terms for Christian Counseling Services

Any client initiating treatment agrees to be bound by these simple rules, which constitute standard practice in all psychotherapeutic settings throughout the United States. Given that these terms are widely available online—as well as included in all communications—it is deemed that, by commencing their initial consultation, the client accepts said terms as set forth below: 

1. Our practice in Christian Family Counseling is conducted in accordance with the professional regulations and statutes of the State of Florida, U.S.A., under the designation of “Christian Spiritual Counseling.” Therefore, by commencing your first session, you declare that you consent to receive individual or couples counseling via video conference or in office from a professional trained in Christian-Oriented Psychology.

2. These sessions are held in absolute confidence, with the sole exception being instances where the professional determines that the client poses a danger of causing harm to themselves or to others; in such cases, the professional reserves the right to involve the appropriate authorities.

3. Sessions may be conducted on an individual basis and/or as couples counseling. Whether counseling begins on an individual basis, as a couple, or starts individually but evolves into a process aimed at resolving marital issues—in which case both spouses (identified by the individual who initially requested the consultation) agree that the counseling is intended to seek a resolution to marital conflicts—the professional works with both parties, and the intervention is conducted with the aim of preventing divorce. Should the couple, despite these efforts, ultimately reach the stage of divorce proceedings, both parties agree that the professional shall under no circumstances intervene in the judicial process in favor of either party, given that they have provided guidance to both individuals.

4. Given that the sessions are confidential, both the professional and the clients are strictly prohibited from recording these sessions in any format, unless prior written consent—signed by both parties—has been obtained for a specific, special reason.

5. Sessions (in Video Conference or in office) commence at the pre-established time; the professional will be available for the session and will graciously wait up to 10 minutes past the scheduled start time. If the client fails to arrive within this grace period, the scheduled time slot is considered utilized, and the client must book a new appointment, which requires a corresponding new payment. This constitutes a universal practice in psychotherapy; unlike a medical office—where a missed appointment allows the next waiting patient to be seen—any appointment reservation not cancelled with a minimum of 72 hours’ notice (e.g., for a Monday appointment, the cancellation email must be sent by Friday; for a Tuesday appointment, by Saturday) will be treated as a service rendered, and a new reservation will be required to schedule a subsequent appointment.

6. Should the need arise to administer a Battery of Psychological Tests, the full cost of the Battery covers all testing sessions (typically four), the evaluation work, and the feedback session. Since full payment for the testing technique is required to schedule the initial administration, if the client subsequently decides against proceeding with the Psychological Tests and requests a refund, a reimbursement will be issued—no questions asked—minus a 30% administrative fee, to account for the appointment slots that were reserved and blocked off for the client.

7.a. Once a subsequent appointment has been scheduled, the administration of services shall take place within that same week. (no later than Friday) will immediately process the reservation for the upcoming consultation using the card on file that was used for the initial booking, thereby securing the scheduled time slot for the following week. (ZELLE may be used solely to pay for the cost of Psychological Tests directly to Doxa Int. University at admin@doxa.edu).

b. ATTENTION: Payments made less than 72 hours prior to the next session may result in the loss of your appointment slot. (E.g., If the session is scheduled for a Thursday, the payment must reach the office no later than Monday). Furthermore, any schedule changes—once an appointment has already been confirmed—must be arranged through the office, also with 72 hours’ advance notice.

c. Should the bank and/or processing agency reject a charge to the card provided by the client (for any of various reasons), we incur a fee of $12 for each rejected transaction. The office will absorb the cost of the first such fee and forward the failed transaction receipt to the client; however, beginning with the second instance, the client will be required to pay these fees of $12 each.
